The ESEG Chinese GYN-Oncological MIS Forum in Dalian brought together top experts from China, Germany, and Italy for two days of inspiring lectures, live surgery, and international exchange. With over 230 participants online and on-site, the event showcased cutting-edge techniques and global collaboration in minimally invasive gynecologic oncology.
The ESEG Chinese GYN-Oncological MIS Forum was held from June 13 to 14, hosted by The Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University and the Liaoning Province Life Science Association in Dalian, North China. Professor Wang Ning, a member of ESEG, was invited to serve as the general chair, delivering the opening speech and introducing the ESEG brand to all local participants.
The forum consisted of six lectures and one operational demonstration. We invited Prof. Yao Liangqing from China, Prof. Maurizio Rosati from Italy, and Prof. Markus Hubner from Germany to lead the scientific webinar, where they shared their unique experiences in genecology. This enriched the international forum and provided valuable global insights. All programs were streamed online simultaneously. Over 150 participants attended the forum in person, while more than 80 participated in the international portion of the event.
Visiting scholars from Africa showed interest in ESEG and attended to observe Prof. Wang Ning's demonstration of the operation. A one-and-a-half-day forum provided an excellent learning opportunity for all participants, creating an unforgettable and meaningful experience. It also offered a rare chance to enhance their skills through online operation teaching with real-time communication.
