June 13 − 14, 2026 | Dalian Xinghai GYN-ONCOLOGY Forum, China

ESEG® National GYN-Oncological Surgery Course in China

More than 100 gynecologic surgeons and healthcare professionals came together in Dalian, China, from June 13 to 14, 2026, for the ESEG® National GYN-Oncology Surgery Course, which took place at the same time as the Sixth Dalian Xinghai GYN-Oncology Surgery Forum.

Over two inspiring days, more than 26 leading experts, including five national ESEG® faculty members, shared their expertise, discussed the latest developments in gynecologic oncology, and explored innovative approaches to improving patient care. The event once again demonstrated the power of collaboration in advancing surgical education and shaping the future of women's health.

A moment highly anticipated during the course was the live demonstration of the marSeal® 5 plus Maryland procedure. Over 9,000 healthcare professionals watched the operations online, seeing advanced surgical techniques and also the great potential of bloodless surgery made possible by KLS Martin technology.

From two difficult gynecologic oncology operations carried out by well-known specialists, the participants acquired important insights. Prof. Yao Liangqing from the Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University performed a laparoscopic radical hysterectomy together with a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy. Prof. Wang Ning from the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University presented a complicated ovarian cancer debulking procedure, highlighting the importance of precision, expertise, and multidisciplinary care in oncological surgery.

Outside the operating room, the event provided a lively opportunity to share ideas, reinforce professional networks, and encourage the next generation in the field of surgical innovation. The discussions included topics such as precision medicine, complex surgical strategies, multidisciplinary treatment concepts and the ongoing development of high-quality training programs.

We at ESEG® believe that each shared experience, each surgical lesson, and each worthwhile discussion contributes to improved patient outcomes around the world; events such as the Dalian course show our dedication to enabling surgeons through education, collaboration, and practical expertise.
